Feeling Younger:
St. Simons Resident, Shirley Maybury Egan, just turned 84 and is living life looking about half her age, all while singing the praises of Dr. Diane Bowen of the Golden Isles Center for Plastic Surgery, PC. Completing her eyesight rejuvenation means she no longer feels any impairment or the need for eyeglasses for her three favorite activities: reading, walking and playing duplicate bridge. Shirley is a happy woman who treasured her 30-year career as an high school English teacher, retiring from Brunswick High in 1998. She is the mother of two daughters, both married with children and great careers, and Shirley is married to Bill Egan—both long-time friends and both widowed. Her energy and positive outlook ties to her R.W. Emerson favorite quote: “Dare to live the life you have dreamed for yourself…”
Feeling Better:
Shirley’s inherited drooping eyelids are gone and she says “Dr. Diane” has made all the difference.

Adding a medallion chain necklace, bracelet and hoop earrings for finishing touches, brought our candidate to the corner of fashion and fabulous!
Master Cosmetologist Lisa Nicolas-Luiz knew Shirley from a few years back. The two caught-up while Lisa worked on Shirley’s layered bob. An invigorating and conditioning shampoo ended with smoothing and volumizing products. Lisa’s smoothing hot iron and round brush styling produced gorgeous results. For makeup, Lisa combined foundation with Shirley’s tinted sunscreen purchased from Dr. Bowen’s product line. Her new daytime-look included blending eyeshadows, eyebrow pencil, mascara, eyeliner and blush. Shirley handed Lisa her favorite lipstick; Pink Number 11 from Yves St. Laurent™ wow – fantastic!
